Operation Warrior Resolution (OWR) provides innovative, holistic therapies for military service members that aren’t offered anywhere else. They have a proven method that quickly and effectively resolves post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression and other mental health challenges. OWR also provides services to the veteran’s spouse and children. Their programs are offered in Sarasota and Manatee counties, serving mainly veteran families who live in the local area. Each program is based on the latest research in neuroscience for maximum impact.
Operation Warrior Resolution’s main program is individual brain-based healing sessions (The Cortina Method) with a highly trained practitioner to resolve trauma or other emotional disturbances. It’s a gentle and interactive process to rewire the brain so there’s no longer a reaction to traumatic events. Their most popular and fully comprehensive program is a 5-day healing retreat with 90 days of post-retreat coaching. During the retreat the veterans are introduced to holistic methods, outside of talk therapy and medication, so they can truly heal the mind, body and spirit. They’ll meet with brain-based healing practitioners to resolve trauma, a chiropractor and medical massage therapist to treat physical injuries and chronic pain, nutrition, yoga, equine therapy, followed with 90 days of coaching for long-term changes and sustainability.
Operation Warrior Resolution has been spending 2022 focusing on, not just the veteran, but providing the family as a whole with needed support. So OWR created a Spouse Initiative, providing the spouse of veterans with their own needed support and therapy, along with any needed marriage and couples counseling. Much of the monies donated from Catalist Reality will go towards this initiative.
As of right now their biggest need is funding more therapy sessions for veterans and their family members. Where they cause the most significant impact is through their innovative brain based healing sessions. This allows veterans and their family members who are suffering from trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, etc. to get immediate treatment with a trained clinician.
Operation Warrior Resolution is the only mental health organizations in the area that provides this innovative, effective, immediate treatment to veterans, their spouses and children.
Brain based healing is a main component of their Veterans Healing Retreats, but many veterans and/or spouses have challenges that they need addressed immediately, so they have a team of highly skilled practitioners ready to meet the need.
