Cat Depot, a non-profit, free-roaming adoption center and rescue, is recognized for its progressive design and commitment to helping homeless, abandoned and injured animals. Cat Depot’s mission is to save lives, find loving homes, and provide the resources and education needed to improve the destiny of homeless cats. Cat Depot supports more than 130 cats and kittens on any given day.
IMPACT:
Donations to Cat Depot change the destiny of hungry, homeless, and injured cats. One of the many areas donations to Cat Depot can go to is the “Friends Like Me” program! The goal of our “Friends Like Me” program is to provide emergency medical care and treatment to Cat Depot cats and kittens who are sick, injured, or have a chronic illness. These cats need friends like you to help support them in their times of need.
Cato, our Meow Mayor and longest resident, is just one of the many “Friends Like Me” cats currently in our care needing specialized ongoing and critical medical treatment. He is 8.5 years young and has been diagnosed with stage II chronic kidney disease. Many cats with this diagnosis can have a good quality of life for years to come. His condition, while it may not improve, is currently being managed by a special diet of Hill’s Science Diet K/D food, which he will need to remain on following adoption.

Summer Adoption Promotion: Cat Depot is excited to offer a summer adoption promotion through the end of July… adoption fees for all adult cats (one year of age and older) are just $20 (specialty breeds excluded)!
Fall Feline Fun Run: Coming this fall! Run for the Kitties from wherever you call home! Help us save lives!
Whether it’s a quick run around the house at 3 a.m. or a laid back walk on the lanai, many of our feline friends seem inclined to get up and stroll. Just like them we all need exercise!
We wanted to hold our second annual 5K and one-mile fun run with all of you in person but much like some of the cats in our lives, we are “social distancing” in an effort to keep our community safe. We hope that you will join us in our second annual virtual run in support of the cats and kittens we serve each year and the people who love them.
Registration is open now through midnight on October 31, 2021 and is $35 per registrant. If you are unable to participate in the walk/run, please consider donating to support our lifesaving work.
